趋化因子配体4(CCL4)，又名巨噬细胞炎性蛋白1β(MIP-1β)，是一种对CCR5受体具有特异性的CC趋化因子。它能趋化自然杀伤细胞、单核细胞和其它多种免疫细胞，可被小鼠的许多细胞类型诱导表达，包括肥大细胞、内皮细胞、巨噬细胞和CD8+T细胞。小鼠CCL4的cDNAs编码一段含有23个氨基酸残基信号肽的92个氨基酸残基前体蛋白，裂解该前体蛋白可产生69个氨基酸残基的分泌性的成熟蛋白。CCL4是一种由CD8+T细胞产生的重要的HIV抑制因子。趋化因子的活性由G蛋白偶联的7次跨膜结构域受体调节，CCR1、5和8这些受体可调节CCL4的生物活性。在同一细胞群中，CCL4的活性比CCL3弱20倍。
