Centrifuge tubes before opening. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Do not mix by vortex. It is recommended to dissolve the product at a concentration of twice the specified specification. |
Background |
LIF is a pleiotrophic factor produced by multiple cell types, including T cells, myelomonocytic lineages, fibroblasts, liver, heart and melanoma. LIF promotes long-term maintenance of embryonic stem cells by suppressing spontaneous differentiation. Other activities include the stimulation of acute phase protein synthesis by hepatocytes, stimulation of differentiation of cholinergic nerves, and suppression of dipogenesis by inhibiting the lipoprotein lipase in adipocytes. |

白血病抑制因子(LIF)是一种白细胞介素6家族细胞因子,通过抑制分化影响细胞生长。当LIF水平下降时,细胞就会分化。活化的T细胞、单核细胞、星形胶质细胞、成骨细胞、角质形成细胞、肥大细胞和成纤维细胞都可表达LIF。LIF因其能诱导髓系白血病细胞的终端分化,阻止白血病细胞的持续增长而得名。LIF的其它特性包括促进生长、促进不同类型的靶细胞分化、影响骨代谢、恶病质、神经发育、胚胎发育和炎症。LIF参与孕期子宫内膜蜕膜化和胚胎植入子宫内膜的过程。女性体内的LIF和其它细胞因子水平下降时,就容易怀孕,但是不明原因复发性流产的风险会增加。研究表明重组人LIF可能有助于改善女性不明原因不孕不育的着床率。另外,LIF通常用来添加到干细胞培养基中来减少自发分化。
